Akhand Ramayan Paath is non-stop ritualistic recitation of the entire Ramcharitmanas. It is often done after major auspicious event in the family like childbirth or a marriage. Performing the Paath blesses devotees with abundance of positivity and Divine grace and blessings. The recitation is done singing like that of bhajan or kirtan. Ramcharitmanas Paath is poetic representation of Sage Valmiki's Ramayana in which Lord Rama is glorified for His virtues and deeds. The Ramayan by Sage Valmiki was written in Sanskrit where as Tulsidas's Ramcharitmanas is penned in Awadhi. Recitation of Ramcharitmanas blesses devotees with good health, wealth and prosperity.
