Sri Rudram is a devotional hymn also known as the Rudra Prashna or Namakam-Chamakam, found in the Taittiriya Samhita of the Krishna Yajurveda. It consists of two parts namely Namakam which are a set of prayers praising Lord Rudra and seeking his blessings for removing obstacles and granting well-being and Chamakam which is a prayer listing material and spiritual desires to be fulfilled by the grace of Lord Rudra.
